Thank you so much for your interest in commissioning a custom painting from me! I am currently opening up commission slots for custom pet portraits. If you are interested in a custom, hand-painted pet portrait from me see the information below on sizing, prices, and the booking process. All paintings are done in oil paint on .75" stretched and mounted canvas ready to hang on your wall as soon as you receive them! If you are ready to book your one of a kind painting please contact me here and we can get the process started!

I am also available to paint custom landscape or wildlife commissions. If you are interested, please contact me by clicking the button above and we can discuss pricing and sizes as well as your vision for the custom piece.
How to Book a Commission
1. Contact Me
The first step if you are interested in commissioning a custom portrait is to contact me! Please fill out the form on the contact page and get in touch so we can start discussing your future painting. If you have any questions feel free to ask and any details about your pet(s) you would like to share, I would love to hear those too! I can paint just about any animal, dog, cat, horse, goat, bird, fish, you name it, if you have a good reference photo I can do it! You do not have to know the exact size or details right away but if you do have an idea of what you would like you can include those in this initial email as well. I will get back to you as soon as possible but in the meantime you can look through some of your favorite photos that you may like me to use as reference for the portrait!
2. Sizes and Details
| Size | Price |
| 8" x 10" | $300 |
| 9" x 12" | $400 |
| 11" x 14" | $550 |
| 12" x 16" | $650 |
| 16" x 20" | $800 |
| 18" x 24" | $1000 |
Once you have gotten in contact with me, we will discuss more of the details about the painting, including what size you would like, how you want the background/foreground, and if you are wanting more than one subject in the piece. This is also a good time to let me know if there is a specific date you need the painting by and I can see what I can do. If you are unsure with some of the details I will walk you through the process and we can work together to make your vision come to life! I do have a chart of standard sizes and prices but ultimately I am flexible with sizes so if you are looking for something specific feel free to mention that and I can send you a quote. Paintings come with either a solid color or gradient background (2 colors) of your choice. Detailed backgrounds are an additional cost depending on the complexity. Please send me a photo or describe to me the type of the background you were envisioning and I can tell you the additional cost it would be. I am also more than willing to do multiple subjects in one painting. I would not recommend a size smaller than 11” x 14” for 2 or more subjects as you may get the detail that is desired. Additional costs apply for each added subject.
3. Reference Photos
The next step is sending me some of your favorite photos of your pet! You may send me as many photos as you would like but around 3 - 5 is preferred. Please send at least one photo with a clear image of their facial features as that is usually the main focus of the portrait . I do work directly from photos so good quality photos are important but if you have a favorite photo of your pet that may be slightly blurry or is a bad angle, etc, feel free to email it to me and I can see what I can do. If you would like I can send mockups using your photos with different backgrounds and compositions so that you can better visualize how the finished piece will look.
4. Deposit and Payment Options
When everything is set and finalized, I will require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. I will send an invoice for the agreed amount to your email where it can be paid via card or PayPal. Once this is paid you will have a slot secured on my waiting list and I will give you an estimated start date for the painting.
5. The Process and Final Portrait
I will inform you a few days in advance before I start your painting and give you an estimated finish date. Paintings take anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on the size and complexity of the piece. I will send you updates and progress photos throughout the process to make sure you are satisfied with your custom portrait. I am more than happy to make minor adjustments during this time so that the painting turns out exactly how you envisioned. When the painting is completed and you are 100% satisfied I will send the invoice for the remaining 50% plus shipping costs. Shipping is done priority through USPS. Shipping costs vary depending on size but usually range from $15-$30 . I will provide you with the tracking number once it is shipped so you can know the exact date of when your painting is expected to arrive.
In the case you are not satisfied with the finished painting and do not wish to pay the remaining 50% payment, the portrait will not be sent and the upfront 50% will not be refunded.
